Student Musicians: If you have family or friends attending the concert in New York on March 2, please be advised that the best (and only) time you will have to see them following the concert is the moment you step out of the stage doors, and load your garment bag and instrument onto the coach bus just before we begin our trip home.
Any family member who would like to give you a hug or a high-five should plan to look for you on the street approximately 10-15 minutes after the end of the concert.
When the concert concludes, all students will immediately report backstage and change clothes in the dressing room areas. This must be done very quickly and efficiently as we have to clear the hall by 11 PM. There will be no opportunity for students to visit with parents in the lobby or in the auditorium following the concert.
Carnegie Hall has asked us to make sure everyone understands that backstage access by friends/family is strictly prohibited.
